Essential Healthcare for the Disadvantaged (EHD) in Bangladesh
About the role: This is a 42 month new role with accompanied terms based in Dhaka, Bangladesh at Salary Grade 6 from €48,070 to €53,411
You will report to the Country Director and work closely with all members of the consortium, Programme Implementation Unit (PIU) and Concern’s Programmes Director, Technical Advisors/Specialists, Programme Managers, Finance and system departments, Concern HQ and the donor.
We would like you to start as soon as possible.
Concern Worldwide is leading a Consortium and intends to implement a large health programme to increase access to quality essential healthcare for the disadvantaged, including people with disabilities, through innovative approaches and covering around 2 million people in urban and rural areas in the underserved, remote coastal areas in the south of Bangladesh. The programme duration is expected be four years from 2019- 2022 depending on the final approval of the donor. The Consortium will be managed by Concern through the dedicated Programme Implementation Unit (PIU).
Your purpose: This position demands a dynamic individual with demonstrable ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment. The Consortium Director will lead and manage the Programme Implementation Unit (PIU) and will be responsible and accountable for the overall management and oversight of the programme including: overseeing the sub-grant management and implementation, risk management and financial accountability, donor reporting and liaison, external representation, relationship management with consortium members and government counterparts, and ensuring compliance with Concern and donor’s policies and procedures. He/she will be responsible to provide direction and support to the team, and technical leadership to ensure high quality programming to achieve programme results.
